This is accurate. The boss was watered down.

Deadmines also was nerfed big time if I remember correctly. Massive overhaul in difficulty and bosses a long time ago.

shit i wonder if TLP servers will get the old katta back i doubt it since its too much work to change but i wonder how they will go about that when luclin comes.

Katta and the surrounding areas are confirmed unfinished concepts by Brad and Luclin devs, they never finished Luclin.

Going through those zones in classic you could feel that we only got half of what Luclin was going to be. Could you imagine if we got FULL LUCLIN? Yikes, can you say most ambitious expac in MMO history to date, ever.

It was such a massive time in MMO history. Easily the golden age of EQ.

You think everyone is actually sad that luclin won't be released here. I played in a hardcore raid guild through PoP and I think Luclin is a steaming pile of shit. I have no desire to see it again. Hence I happily play on p99.

What exactly do you have to look forward to that's so great? Expansions that have been completely trivialized for years? More reason to waste your life sitting in front of a computer? Quit trying to wave your dick around like it means something.

Is your life really that sad that you have to constantly prove how much "better" you are at Everquest? If so then I truly pity you.
