I have always stood by my claim that playing a Dark Elf is the best choice for a SK, Erudite is next best. One simple reason, the starting INT. Due to the huge Warrior friendly gear it is way easier and cheaper to raise STA and STR than to raise INT with gear.

I have an lvl 60 ogre SK, but if i reroll i ll choose DE, because they looks more pretty(yea famle).

as you are choosing a sk, faction is not a factor you should consider all the way you lvlup. Just go to kill every good race NPCs /giggle.

You can always use Druid ring vendor to sell trashs, and use any bank with FD spell.

Erudite for fashionquest, high int, less hatred, and flayed skin armor is very cheap if you are a new player and looks excellent.

Pick whatever you think looks better, especially from behind. You'll be staring at its back for the next 60 levels and then some.

When you're an Iksar every city is a dungeon, and most have huge experiences bonuses.

A lot of plate armor is restricted from Iksar until higher end velious. But you can wear a treeweave, cultural, or the Dreadscale which is great looking. No blood ember armor though. Trolls get plate armor, better faction, and really high starting str. Ogres are monsters but can be a little too big unless you have shrink available in some places. Iksar really shine when they get high level armor + lizard AC bonus.

Not according to Ivory. They are going passed 50 with it.
