And here's why. Sony would not need me to hand them their data. They already have it all. However, they do have a handful of former fansite administrators who were recruited to be the inept devs they currently have. These inept devs want very much to be loved for their work, but that will never happen. They can't change how everquest is regarded by their support base.

However, I do have significant experience working with inept devs. And I was able to figure out things no one else managed to piece together. Boats, potions, hidden little bits of the spell file and item table structure that have been forgotten, and recoded. If I was to give anything to sony, it would be a smirk that asked how much they would pay me to teach their devs how their existing code works.
