Default Spell casting range message or possible winged death bug?

Hi,

I usually look for "begins to cast a spell" message when being a paranoid fuck medding, and it's come to my attention that winged death can be cast so far away you won't even see the message of player casting.

Either this is a winged death (or the spell line it's in) where it has to high range (?) or it's a bug where the client doesn't show spell casting from far enough.

Is this classic or an unintentional error? Very annoying getting a winged death at the bottom of the buff bar even though you were looking at the spell casting window and saw nothing.

Thanks

Casting "announce" range is 200 units. Druid swarm dot line is 250. Mage bolts are even farther at 300.

The spell ranges are correct. The announce range should be tested on Live.

If someone could confirm the live/classic announce range that would be great, i can't remember being jumped by spells like this on live but then again people sucked ass back in 1999.
