Default Skills in Red

Maybe not suitable for "Starting Zone" but didnt know where to ask. My 40 Shaman has Alteration currently sitting @ 205 skill, in red color. Does this mean the skill is maxed out?

No, it means you have a skill level higher than your current cap.

This suggests you either you delevelled or are bugged.

Thanks Jimjam, Went ahead and did so. I havent been playing too regularly in the last few months..So while the red color did strike me as weird. I began doubting myself, thinking "Why Would Alteration be maxed already at 210 for a 40 Shaman" Didn't make sense.

There might have been a change in level caps in the last patch? I know my necro's spell research was displayed in red after a patch because he was higher than he was meant to be following the update...
