Default Group Exp

I play a Mag and occasionally find that chain summoning is not the most efficient (in dungeons) so I was wondering about group exp:

If I'm in a group with one other person who is no longer in zone do I still get party exp or do they need to be in zone??

Is XP zone wide? I remember on live when I was pulling I could go out of range of the XP kill.

It's been a while but I am sure it's not zone wide. So, as long as that person is in your group and in zone, as long as they aren't in xp range, you'll get 100% xp.

It is not zone wide but sure seems close enough. swarming in TLoIO i would kill runner aggro mobs randomly and bard would get the xp very small amount but some while they were gathering the swarm, and same the other way and we were a good distance from each other like two mins of running mage non-sow.
