Nice writeup, but SS's or it didn't happen =P

All joking aside, that's a good jump in 15 hours of grinding solo....and OT was the best choice for that range...nowhere else is as safe to go from your teens to your upper 30's. Everything runs, and all the mob paths are fairly predicable - worst thing in zone is the guard if you are kos but the easy escape is stay away from the whole zone wall from the outpost all the way up to FM like you did...

I had a nice PL spot on live that doesn't match up with p99's pathing as a tigress came strolling through and killed the newbie while I was pulling, but I think there are fewer mobs in OT here anyway. Probably could have found an all-night AFK spot right in the middle of the zone...another safe all night spot is south of the WW zone up the wall from the sarnak tower. Nothing but a cactus ever climbs up past the trees.

Grats on the fine use of that tooth!

LOL I'm sorry skulldudes! For those of you who were interested in getting a dragon tooth for yourself, they can run anywhere from 10,000-15,000p per, and the two deadwood staves will run you roughly 600p for the pair(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED).

It certainly did happen! I saw a female barbarian shaman (won't disclose name here) running around madly with a skeleton pet and was like WTF when did shamans get necro pets? OP very kindly answered my noobie questions and also gave sow and regen to my group on several occasions, effectively powerlevelling us (warrior, warrior, and me as Aguy the enc :P no healers about so was a massive help to have OP there!).

A few casts of clarity later and she went *poof* (must've logged), but it happened!

i took the advice and used my white tooth in OT on a lvl 8 chanter. 2 deadwood staves, a muzzle, and got all my spells ahead of time. in lvl 8 i was getting 20 - 50% a kill fighting outside the OT fort. i got up to lvl 18 and my pet warped into the floor and disappeared. Bummer!!! but was an easy 10 lvls. if i get another tooth i'll do OT again for sure and hope to death i don't have a bad luck pet this time, thanks for all the advice in this thread!
