Lightbulb Are we not here for the same reasons?

I really don't get all the drama...

We all play EQ pvp because EQ pvp is fun, painful, frustrating, and keeps us wanting more.

I know Rogean is a ghost (dude has a real life I'm sure), and I know Amelinda doesn't really have much to do with the upcoming changes, but the fact is, THINGS WILL COME. Nilbog and the other developers wouldn't be checking the forums for bugs etc daily if they had no intentions of making changes.

Rogean will not plug the server.

Not even at 0.

We all still log in, every morning there are a few people on, as early as 8am EST.

People have fun, wether you like it or not. High population or Low population.

I am here today asking ALL of our friends and foes, enemies, and bestfriendemies to come log in and have some fun..

It's not that hard...

Many people from IF/Holo left because of their own reasons, not going to call anyone a pussy, rage quitter, or a cry baby.

We want our 100+ population back.

Come back, tell your friends, stop with this Legacy of Shittyboxingcode and come back to the server where you know PVP will happen.

The shit talking, corpse camping, griefing, and fun is awaiting all of you.

I hope to see more of you in the coming weeks.

As a lawyer you would only get posts for 2011 when the majority of the servers problems came in 2012

Push your argument.

Fact is, we are dickheads over here, we have the most drama, and the most shit talking, and the most blantant disrespect to the GM's.

Why the fuck would they want to talk to us?

Be transparent about the timeline. Wipe and reopen the server as a one-time thing (I think it's okay to do this since nobody is playing anyway) with a date set for Kunark release -- say 2 months. Hype the rerelease. People will play.
So you would have everyone lose months of progress, wipe the server with Kunark being released in 2 months... and then what? What happens to legacy items? Do you have some brilliant plan for those too? When do Fear and Hate get released? When does Sky get released? You can't space these out in any fair way if you have a pre-kunark period lasting only 2 months. Also, anyone who spent 10+ days leveling a character to 50 ends up losing everything and wasting their time. Therefore most people won't be interested in investing in the next box because they know their characters aren't necessarily safe from being wiped. Horrible idea.

I like this point above all.

Only because it gives the server a clean slate.

I believe many of the GM's that ignore us as a community do that because we write things such as "YOU FUCKING RETARDS SUCK COCK YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW RESIST SYSTEM WORKS, THE RESIST FUCKING SUCKS OMFG OMFOGMOFMGOFMG WHY CANT I KILL EVERYONE IN ONE HIT" "ALSO I WANT FUCKING YT...NOW"

Smedy, Vile, Devnoob, all of these GM's would be vigalante's and defy people like Rogean Nilbog Amelinda etc.

THAT is why they are not given any development access.

They are wankers.

With ZERO respect

Now.

I respect them, as people, and as fellow EQ players, but I would never want to see control put in the hands of the corrupt.

As great as the server could be, giving access to development tools to just anyone would cause chaos, and not just conspiracy about GM/Guild corruption but it would ACTUALLY FUCKING HAPPEN, and in turn, the server would die.

The resist code is suffice, YT would be cool, so would /channels but you know what, all that shit is up to the people who put work into CREATING the server, and LOOKING at code, not to those who fucking play the game.
