Kinda odd that you have 15" and 17" displays, the size of the laptop is generally the first thing someone decides before they buy something. I'm assuming this is going to be a gaming laptop, so the decision comes down to if you want something adequate with a large screen for $100 cheaper than something with a smaller screen and a little more power.
And without even knowing what you're doing with it it's hard to judge the value of the cpu/gpu upgrade.

In general I lean towards Asus on all decisions. It's right up there with Apple in quality with more bang for the buck.
Admitingly I didnt look at the links. On my phone now, etc. What are you going to do with it? I've personally gone back to desktops. For the money the performance, upgradability, and durability beat laptops into the ground. | ||

asus' customer service has gotten really bad the past few years, so bad i dont even buy thier products anymore. Acer is usually a great choice for bang/buck.
