Do the red BoTB results reflect on actual skill?

Bard BOTB with denons chain landing in comparison to Monk BOTB with room to out joust your opponent isn't a fair comparison. Throwing in the fact that you could only use fists, nearly every one is on a similar playing field.

Not defending Lite here but I def see how he would want a re match.

With that being said, no good bard should go into a 1v1 against another bard with a drum.

Are you seriously suggesting that every non-iksar monk be given regen, to make the BoTB more fair? Should every Ogre SK be given regen? Should Dwarf Rogues be changed to Barbarian?

No, he's saying factors like these make it an ambiguous representation of skill, but really it just is what it is, eq will never be balanced and fair.

Leading large scale pvp against a similar force and coming out the victor earns you a crown in my book, not 1v1, and not leading a zerg blob

eq arena pvp is boring to say the least, environment is the only thing that makes it remotely fun.


Could care less about arena fights, no depth at all



gear, ping, slight amount of jousting , which R-n-G usually determines anyway


EQ pvp doesnt take "that" much skill and is based on a few factors which tip the scales greatly.

Fun , none the less, but the skill factor involved isnt huge. Esp in arena fights.

if a BotB was done on red i think it would show allot more skill of the players than in normal pvp. mainly i say this because the screen draggers wouldnt be able to get away with it and you know who you are. so i say do a BotB on red id like to see it and participate in it
