Nope, xp is fast enough. All that you're going to do if you increase it on the weekends is have people play just in the weekends, and most will quit at about 40. Faster xp isn't the answer and it's short sighted.
Again, that isn't the point. XP is fine, I agree. But posting crap like "XP bonus weekend!" gets people to try it out even if it was super fast to begin with. People few it as a short term opportunity. It's the same reason every infomercial ever created has the "call in the next 30 minutes and get 50% off!" shit in it...even though you'd get the same price no matter when you call. It creates a false sense of urgency and desire in people to act.

You could literally give a 5% bonus to make it 295% and call it a bonus weekend and you'd have a surge in population for the weekend, it's human nature.

Experience is fast enough. Everyone I group with on alts can't afford there spells and are using dragoon dirks or leather whips as a melee 20+.

That is a bit dismissive, don't you think? Lumping this kook in with the hundreds of people advocating a wipe.

I still have yet to see any guild leader sanction their members for stupid shit on the forums or server chat. The most effective method of change is through your peers, but like I've said before I think it's just easier to blame the server rather than admit some responsibility for one's own actions.
is that the leader's fault, many of whom have been banned previously for RMT / Boxing / Exploiting, or is it the staff's fault who shrug their shoulders?

XP at 54+ is terrible since there are no groups during euro hours, and hardly any groups during other hours.

Most people don't make it past 56, unless they have a clique or join nihilum.

I just rerolled and enjoy the low lvl game for what it is; sparsely populated with a rare pvp moment, but still tons beter then the 55+ game by far.
