I don't even have a specific fee for ports. I just let people pay me whatever they will pay, and I have never really been disappointed by it.

Although the one exception is succoring across SG. I would probably not do that for less than 100pp since it can result in death

Speedyfeet here. We do not have any rule that forces anyone to pay a fee as a guild. Individual players are allowed to charge -if they want-. But as anyone who uses our services knows, 99% of us don't charge and sometimes refuse payment. I never mention money or plat, although I do accept tips.

Hopwil isn't in Dial a Port, and he IS a douche. Guy literally stole mobs off two of my quads in FV drolvargs the other day because I grabbed some in his track radius. I asked him in a tell to stop being a douchebag and got cursed out, then supposedly ignored.

Theres situations where asking for a flat rate makes sense, like if someone is asking for a string of ports or special services like binds or xfers (can take a lot of time and if they decide to stiff you you've likely missed out on several opportunities by then.) I'm not a fan of asking for a flat rate for a single port, but that's that dude's business. My experience has been that the good will you generate from just accepting a job and executing it efficiently without bringing up money tends to net you more, though.
