I'm a big fan of most of Oskar Blues' beers, particularly Old Chub Stout (http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/2681/14712/) and their Dales Pale Ale

Also love Goose Island beers. Their classic IPA is great value for the price

Pretty much all the local brews. Particularly higher IBU IPAs.

Minneapolis has a pretty good craft beer scene.
I'm a fan of Surly for big, hard hitting, often offensive IPAs. I prefer Fulton however, especially with it's proximity to Target Field.

As someone else said, there are just to many shit beers out there. There just are not enough skilled brewers to occupy all the micro breweries that are trying to get into the market.
I mentioned the Kalamazoo Stout, are you saying this is a shit beer or the work of "skilled brewers" ?

I don't like any of those. Too weak in flavor and abv.

you keep naming main stream stouts like they are something special

if coors made a stout i bet it would make the list lol
you truly are special. stick with Boone's Farm

Surly & Summit are probably my favorite bigger micro breweries, if that makes any sense. But Indeed Brewing in North East and Tin Whiskers in St. Paul deserve mention as well.

A lot of us Minnesota people here, kinda surprising considering MN is known as a wholesome midwest state filled with sometimes obnoxiously nice people. Pretty much the opposite of the type of people who play r99.

This forum is a vicarious experience.

I always wanted to know how it felt to be a sociopath who lives in their parents basement with no hope of a future.
