Here is an older version before I changed the legs.

I think it looks pretty damn good! That Iksar has been doing some major trapezius and arm work!

Are you referring to the older more up-right version being better? I'm wondering if I should revert to that body type or not now.

Looking for opinions on which people like.

I like the older one. But he needs some leg day and his torso isn't proportionate to the rest of his body. Looks like an anorexic body builder.

Put some texture on him let's see what he should look like

I find both to be a bit top-heavy. They also don't seem very light on their feet. I don't really find myself liking the hip-to-ribcage ratio. Even Iksar deserve space for their internal organs, yeah?

I think the changes I'd make (to the newest one) are the following:
* reduce muscle-mass in the upper arm/trapezius area
* add more mass to the lower trunk - not more muscle, just more mass to account for internal organs and skeletal structure
* reduce the angle of the neck so the model is not hunched over so much
* I can't see the base of the tail from this angle, but I'm hoping it's a bit thinner than the old model
* The thumbs seem overly human compared to the other fingers
* He needs 4 toes! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I don't know anything about Zbrush but technically it looks fine to me aside from some seams and bumpiness I'm sure you'll fix later. Despite the number of critiques I'm making here, there is a lot you are doing right with the model [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Keep up the good work!

So I messed around with some of the feedback you guys gave me. Not everything worked. I even popping it in next to the iksar model from ingame and compared. It's difficult to strike the balance between something that looks like the iksar we all are so use to and something that looks interesting.

This is where I'm kind of at right now and I like this direction and will continue exploring it. Still lots of work to be done though.

The proportions on the sculpt still seem a bit off. Maybe the legs are too skinny and small. The in-game iksar definitely come with extra long legs (so do the rest of the models), but it kinda works on them.

Anyway, here are the sketches I promised! I had to violate the personal space of that naked iksar knight in WW so I hope you appreciate these. :P
