Default Wizard spells - Abscond/Evacuate incorrect mana costs

The mana amount used upon casting these spells is not functioning correctly.

Abscond is 600 mana cost. When initially cast, your mana pool is reduced by approximately 600 mana. Then when zoning completes, an additional 600+ (have had upwards of an additional 1200) mana is subtracted from my mana pool as well.

Evacuate is 300 mana cost. When cast while solo, it has the same functionality as described above for Abscond. While in a group, it will drain every spell casters mana pool that is in the group as described above.

So, one cast of abscond is supposed to cost 1800 mana? I don't remember it being that way. Nor do I remember Evacuate draining each caster in the group of upwards of 1800 mana either.

Memories are not evidence.

I think you guys may be misunderstanding what I am saying the issue is. Maybe my title is misleading?

I know Abscond mana cost is 600. I know Evacuate is 300.

The issue is that the mana used when casting these spells is not correct. In some cases I have had it drain 1800 mana with one cast of Abscond. Or drain 1800 mana from each caster in a group when I cast Evacuate.

Load up EQmac on this one. Nothing was ever changed between at least classic and PoP on this spell's ability to cost the group.

apparently the spell has a negative side effect that it actually drains mana from the entire party as well as the caster; at least this is what GZ said
