Default Cause its always about the fashion

So, I am not raiding anymore, and the Velious gear has different graphics. On live there was a place where you could see what the "tunic that is quested/dropped from xxxx place" looks like on your 1/2 elf/dorf/halfling ranger, druid, cleric.

Is there any interest in having that on wiki? Does anyone have any links to the old pages that had that information?

Since i am not raiding, and am questing/farming stuff to buy with PP the drops I would like to know what it will look like on my char before committing to a tunic that looks like a golem sucked on it.

Allakhazam had a great page called "fashion tables". It had armor sets and robes listed alphabetically, and you could see it on every race, provided that users submitted the screenshot for that particular armor/race combo. You can still find the page on the wayback machine, but unfortunately most of the image links are broken. I've seen a few that still work though.

Hoping people compile something like this together for the different illusion masks -- showing which faces translate into which, between races. Nothing like leveling up a rogue, then getting your mask in lguk only to have a dopey dark elf face.

I thought you got face option 1 on each race when you wore a mask.

Unless the devs have changed it, you can change your face at anytime and as a result change the DE illusion. I have done it many times.

Also, has anyone heard or found a workaround to disable the velious armor textures? This was an option that many, including myself, choose back on live, but the devs have disabled it for some reason on p99.

When you choose the face of your character, you are choosing a "face number". Each race has the same number of faces (some are duplicates). When you change your illusion, you will have the face of the same number that corresponds to your normal face.

Masks work exactly the same as enchanter illusions.

This. Changed it so that both WE/DE faces were agreeable and then logged. Came back later with the new actual face, except when I clicked DE mask I got the same old one again. If I manually changed it every time I logged in, the faces matched but it was annoying like removing helm graphic every time you zone.

Wasn't interested in leveling up a half elf or barbarian rogue to check what all faces corresponded with which, and can't play chanter worth a damn but good to know illusions are the same across the board, as clicky or spell. Also, sorry for the derail.
