Yeah that would be nice. Without a server able to support a client older than Titanium I don't think we could get those back without major changes involving directx. The changes being made with the classic spell particle project is getting closer to this with the working particle system.

Is it possible to get the character names like that back? The names over toon's heads have like a shadow effect behind them which drives me crazy.

As far as I know it's impossible to get the shielding to work that way. There are only room for max 4 effects, and each hand counts as its own.

i.e.

Left blue
right blue
left orange
right orange
left green
right green
