Installed SWTOR last night - now what to roll?

Anyone else playing? Any recommendations on a server to chose and what class is most "like" the Shammy of old EQ or possibly a Necro?

Any other advice or thoughts?

I started a jedi knight on Veeboo Lunx, no real reason why I chose that server other than the name jumped out at me.

I have been trying to find a server people play on that I know, but not much luck.

I'm not sure what would be similar to a necro or a shaman, maybe a jedi consular
