Default Mage pet animations not showing

I have confirmed on my other machine, that it's not a server side issue.

However on my main computer that I play P99 on, my mage pets don't have any visible casting animations. Be it on themselves or being cast on targets, such as earth pet root.
Wondering if I could drop some files from the one PC to the other. Not looking forward to a clean install, as I recall it being a pain to get it working all those years ago.

Have you looked at the Particle settings in the options Display tab?

Same setting on both PC, same UI. Even tried it with a different UI skin.

Also tried switching around those settings with no change.

You can try renaming eqclient.ini (to save it) and then let the client create a new one with defaults and see if anything changes. It'll be similar to a reinstall and if that doesnt do anything you can revert back to the saved one

That did the trick and fixed the issue, thank you.
