NPC Spawn Issue: Tantor - Spawn Frequency Too Low

I have been clearing most of Western Wastes on live for a while now trying to just get all the mobs in the zone and document the rarity of some mobs.

For what it's worth, Tantor is a super common spawn on live, he is literally always up when I log in (no one kills anything on live there anymore). I'm convinced he has a unique spawn point and a fast timer.

Below are the kills I've logged starting this year. Note that each day documented is simply the time I decided to log in and clear, he is always on track each time a log in. Sometimes I've cleared multiple different times in a day, he's re-popped in under an hour.

I'm sure everyone is wondering the drop rate on the tusk, it's pretty rare. Have seen 3 out of 13 kills. So 20-25% drop rate. He can also drop a Velium Mastodon Fur, also a 20-25% drop rate (he can rarely drop tusk + fur).

Everything is rare on p99. This is an emulator of a 14 year olds memory of the game. Love your work, but it’s how it’s always been here.

Let's keep the pessimism out of here. I never saw anyone post hard data on this subject, assuming dev team made it rare since they didn't have a lot of data on it back then.
