Bout to be boarding in Big Bear when I get off this deployment! Some points, yes it does look dangerous and just because your leg cant reach it doesn't mean you could slam down off a jump real hard, and your hand gets sliced open by it. Also what would make it something you could see in any board shop would be if it just like tied onto your binding, or something. no mounting bracket. The Path of least resistance! I could totally see that working. I'm with the other dudes on how much weed, and smell proof dat sheeit xD Awesome idea though, and I could see it being useful. I still bring my backpack doe, cause my backpack is a camelback ^_^.. or Beer-back [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Thanks for the feedback sir =) And welcome home! You have a valid point but one I have thought about. The bracket only sticks out past your binding about 3/4" and really any time you are riding you will have the bag on it. Your worst case scenario where you either come up short or clear the landing and land flat would end with your hand hitting your binding and maybe the bracket too. And the bracket is beveled on top so its not like you're riding with a buzz saw blade between your legs =D

If you land flat and butt check instead, your ass will hit your heels before anything would touch the bracket. Really the only way i see something hitting the bag/bracket is your own foot while you are skating until you get used to having less room to put your foot on your stomp pad.

Regarding your idea of having it tied to the binding. Someone tried and it never got off the ground. Some of the issues is that the bag will flop around like crazy while riding without some sort of support system (bracket), and their version was not detachable unless you reversed your binding straps which was not really a solution. And it wasn't water proof...which kinda makes the whole idea a dud.

I do have an idea on making a bag with no bracket work, and its covered in our patent..but i think what we have is our best foot forward. If it goes well and we are making money we will release lots of other models. hard bags, the cloth only version like you mentioned. We will also be doing a clothing line. What do you think of our logo? Something you would wear on a hoodie? Sniper scope targeting a tribal snowflake.

As for smell proof. The bag is literally air tight, you toss it in the water and it floats, squeeze it really hard and u can force some air out but that's about it. So from a weed standpoint its smell proof till you open it.

Howdy friends =D

Website is up and running. Could use your help in tracking down any weird compatibility issues with different browsers and mobile devices! I have tested it on everything I own but there is always something out there that will cause issues. If you find a flaw please let me know so we can resolve it.

Also, I posted our new websites intro video on our facebook @ https://www.facebook.com/ballisticboardwear and the website is live as well @ www.ballisticboardwear.com

Check it out and let me know what you think. A lot of the photos are prototype place holders..should have final production photos in there soon.

If you are feeling nice this new year give us a Like =)

Thank you sir =) A facebook like or share so any friends/family that snowboard can see it would be awesome. At this point just trying to get some visibility before we get ready to launch the product.

How is your Chemistry gizmo progressing?
