Default Logged out after choosing character

I'm able to sign onto the server. When I pick the EQ 1999 server I am able to get to the character select screen. Once I choose my character, the game hangs and sends me back to the login screen prompting me for my password.

Any idea whats up?

Sounds like it might be a firewall or NAT issue. Are you behind a firewall that you have the ability to configure?

I logged in as a different toon and it worked fine. I played a little bit, then camped to switch characters. When I selected my main it took me back to the login screen like its been doing.

Possibly corrupt zone files? If you made a backup of your EQ directory when you configured it for play on P99, you could try to copy the zone files out of the backup, to your working directory. Other than that, possibly a reinstall.

I didn't crash, just /sit /camp and the next day I couldn't log back in. I'll make a new toon and try to get back to Lfay.

Dont think its the ping as I have no problems logging in a diff character. I have a cleric in Misty Thicket at the moment and he loads fine.
