By the time you get to raiding levels, you will have a pretty good idea what the raid scene is like.

What I find amusing is they set up Trakanon as a new blue server, me and 100s of others all take an interest and want to try a new community...get to about Level 80 for them to then say "actually, we're shutting it down to start a progression server", merged us with Tunare without ever really caring or whatever. Modern day SOE really are stupid as hell.

Ignore the inter guild shit.

If you want to raid the options are there. The one with people you enjoy to be around is only a few tells away to one of many prospective guilds to explain who you are and ask if you'd suit.

No, an untwinked war will do fine, and I'm sure a post here would net you some armor and weaps to get you started. I always have a few spare weaps and shit to hand out to new players. It's just the done thing here.

You can play 10hrs a week and do every raid, or 40 and never make one. The top end scene is all 'on call' with a twitter, MMS or email distribution.

Will we ever have AA's or limited AA's??? (I don't like the 1000's needed. but I do like having some to play around with like endless quiver for rangers or being able to crit on a non warrior).

Also part of me wants to make a troll sk although I know thats *ultra* painful.

Play what you enjoy not what other people suggest. Its just a game, and in the long run your game.

P99 is full of great people. Just stay away from Rant and Flame section on P99-forum and you will be ok. Sometimes know less (drama) is more (so you won't judge the whole community).
