I have Talisman!! I forgot about that one. Not sure if the boyfriend would be into it, I don't think it's really his 'genre'. Worth trying out though.

Talisman is so fun. You get fucked over pretty easily if you end up with a shitty class in the beginning though. A few of them are just so OP.
Yeah it's a little more involved than the typical board game.

(ever play Strip Talisman? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.])

How about simple games like Sorry! or chinese checkers? Or if you're feeling adventurous, try to find some MECCG cards (Middle Earth Collectible Card Game). It's been out of print for years but an old girlfriend and I used to spend a lot of time playing it. We had a special Strip version of that too [You must be logged in to view images. (We had Strip versions of everything lol. Monopoly was especially fun. Chance and Community Chest cards were awesome)

why not? i absolutely love playing euchre. i recommend downloading the free app on your mobile device to get better at it, if you really care enough. it's fun to make into a drinking game too, whenever a team gets euchred they have to do a shot, and a team wins all the tricks the other team has to do a shot.
