Couldnt easily determine which sound file it was, but you can try and look through soundassets.txt and see if you can find something that could seem related.
Delete the line, and restart the game, it will "disable" the sound related ot the line you deleted.

Thanks a lot! Will try it later when I am back from work [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Perhaps the "ambient" thing will do it already - just can't check from here. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I am motion sick while watching your gif-madness. Maybe I am to old for to much immersion! ;-)

I just searched ALL .wav and .mp3 files in my eq-directory. Did not find the damn bugger. It's hidden in some other core file I guess. Dang.

I just turned down my ambient sounds a bit so it wasn't so....obvious. Lol I like ambient sounds but it was getting old, ALL day yesterday it "snowed" in North Karana, it sure would be nice to actually see across the zone again. Lol Ahhhhh classic EQ, the constant rain was one of the reasons I left in 2001 and here I am back again, I must be sick. hahaha
