look for a more powerful psu
AT present I have a shuttle pc, which i am trying to upgrade. Am finding it tricky!
http://www.shuttle.eu/index.php?id=149&L=0 Its convenient pc because of its size and how quiet it is. However the small size means its hard to upgrade parts for it. Am looking to upgrade the psu from one with max output of 250watts to this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-300W-REP...-/320610639427 Which is extremly expensive, because it will cost $38 to ship to uk. AM looking for an alternative....Not sure its viable to buy secondhand psu?? Anyone know where i can get one in uk, or at cheaper price? worst case scenarion i can buy a normal size psu, and have it sit outside the case, but thats an ugly solution! update....was chatting to the bloke in my local computer shop, and he says shuttle pc have higher quality psu than the ave system.
he also recomended zotac gfx cards as pretty power efficient, compared to how powerful they are. something along the lines of : http://acousticpc.com/zotac_geforce_...ideo_card.html worth a try even in a system with a 250w power supply. Only thing worries me is if the psu goes POP it surges throught he mother board too. Kinda hoping that a psu failure, is the worst that can happen....

The GT 430 is pretty low end (fine for EQ), and because of this will also use very little power. The TDP (thermal design power) for that video card is apparently 49 watts, which means it might use 30 watts or so while playing EQ. So it should run fine with that power supply.
