Spells: Grim Aura?

Grim Aura (Feb2001) updated SK lvl 255 => 22, base atk 5 => 3, max atk 0 => 10, atk formula 100 => 102

So as it is, if I click a Grim Aura clicky (goblin earring, reaper's ring), I get +14 atk on display at inventory. Same if I cast the lvl22 Grim Aura spell. Is this as intended? There's no difference apparently on casting the spell itself or using a clickie.

Also, other players, ie. a 60 bard I asked, also gets +14 on a clicky Grim Aura. There doesn't seem to be a shadowknight specific buff to the spell, unless it's not visible on inventory display?
