Default Everquest II Classic?

I'm not sure where else to ask on the Internet, and I expect to get some..troll replies, but.. Does anyone know of any classic Everquest II servers? I love playing classic EQ I and was wondering if anyone knew of any EQ 2 classic servers that I could play on. Thanks in advance![You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I found a website called EQ2Emulator.net but it doesn't seem to be very active.

Heh, indeed. I wouldn't mind waiting for a server as long as I knew one was in progress.

EQ2-emu is still in works. They suffer from lack of coders, so its like just 1 guy doing most of the work there. They got pretty far, but it is still not fully playable. Maybe in a couple years. I would definitely play it to.

The people who invented the first space ships were brilliant. That doesn't mean anybody should actually want to use them 200 years later. Ideas are limited by means of execution. Everquest has amazing ideas that need to be completely reworked in their execution, in order for classic Everquest as it was envisioned to actually exist and continue to be relevant as things have evolved.

I liked the Fae/Arasi expansion. That's when I started playing. I want a free server like that! D:

I wish there was an eq2 classic emu in the works but from what I've read up on, they are making an emulator for eq2 kunark (2-3 xpacs down the line ;/ ) the reason behind this is the everchanging eq2 code and the oldest code they could get to work was Kunark. So even though an emu is in the works, it's not really worth playing, sadly. EQ2 classic was a lot of fun ;( Hoping eq next will be bring back some great pvp
