I guess the question is: what do we plan to do when Asaad is dead and Muslim political parties take over? Nothing is the correct answer, but I'm guessing we'll hear all about Syria being a "hotbed" of terrorism. Therefore, we end up just imposing a different Asaad -- just as bad as the first with our fingerprints all over it to make shit worse.

yay, we get to spend millions of dollars per enemy to snipe them with overpriced exploding computers, while Assad spends $35 dollars on a vaporizer and bucket of chlorine. at least there will be lucrative construction contracts to rebuild all the infrastructure destroyed by our weapons, while Assad only gets to hand out a cleaning contract at best and is saddled with the insurmountable burden of finding use for the vacated spaces.
