Shaman epic question

Hi all,

I factioned my shaman to ally by giving the gem to Bondl in NFP over and over.

When i conned the spirit sentinel and was "ally" i went with my guild and looted the childs tear in Fear

We then turned it in to Rak Ashiir in CoM and looted his iksar scale.

I`ve just handed it in to the spirit sentinel and he has said.

"This is a sad day. You have failed and strayed from the path set before you. Please try to live as close to the spirits as you are able, though this is the closest you will ever get"

Is this a faction issue? when i con him he is ally.

You need max faction. Lol sorry you wasted a tear, but its kinda dumb to do that without checking and making sure.

I though "regards you as an ally" was sufficient.

i guess i need to look for the text "your faction standing cannot get any better" ?

Yea you need cannot possibly get any better. Did the faction reset when you turned in?

petition and perhaps the GM's will look kindly upon you and give your items back. That being said, you need to do that quest more until it says your faction with Truespirit cannot possibly get any better as jarelrop pointed out.

Also, you will find it much easier to do the book question in EJ/CoM to max out faction.

From memory, if you just turned Ally you will need to hand in a completed book 3 times to get to Cannot Possibly Get Better. If it's busy, you can expect to complete 3 books well inside 90 minutes.
