What is the point of the whole R/C system if people can have alts in multiple guilds? I totally saw this coming.

P.S. Derubael, how could you lock that thread just when I had Lazie wriggling in the crushing grip of reason
No reason ever flows from you sir!

Every EQ server has a kind of global attitude: some were more carebear (in the modern day, EQMac) and others are cutthroat (P1999). I think from the beginning the staff (especially Sirken and Derubael, but Rogean has always been for competition as well. Nilbog seems to not care as long as the quests work) have encouraged a competitive attitude here, and that attitude percolates down from the top until we have people being dicks in Mistmoore.

I suspect the vast majority of the server would prefer a GM enforced rotation, but perhaps the GMs feel its boring when you own an anthill and the ants don't go crazy in RNF.
We don't want to restrict the way people play the game. If everyone agreed a rotation was best, we would do that, but there are lots of different views on what's fun and what's not and we're going to allow for all of that to exist on p99.

I know that I definitely don't enjoy the drama that comes up in RnF. But thanks for implying that we have the raid rules set up like this simply for entertainment rather than to make sure that the hardcores and the casuals both have a place to play. Casuals make up a little over 2/3rds of the raid scene, with hardcores being a little less than a third. We're not going to alienate that other third just to appease 'the majority'.

So guilds that shouldn't be able to down mobs because they don't have the numbers/skill are going to be able to down mobs that should have gone to other guilds who do have the numbers/skill
This pretty much sums up the entire spirit behind Class R. Sorry you seem to be upset it's going to work against you.

Do you think BDA and the other class R guilds just shot up in skill when this new class system was put in place? You get kills because the people who are better than you are held at bay by the server staff.

Did you really just state that the casuals were a textbook majority, then put majority in quotes?

How about you stop being a beta and grow a pair?
there is nothing more beta than joining tmo and responding to implicit demands from loser guildmates to be available for elf activities

GT obviously didnt wanna wait and wanted everything handed to them under the timelines they wanted...the first thing they felt miffed about caused them to bail.
The irony is terrific here

BDA sure has a hard on for GT, huh? The word on the street is BDA moved up GT's Maestro two months to a 2 am est slot and wouldn't elucidate further as to why or how this happened.

The shroud has fallen: BDA is an underachieving guild that rightfully belongs in class C but I suppose they enjoy lording over class R guilds.
