One of best zones ever created...

Played ranger alt from some low 30 to high 40s there, doing each and every area and named for exps (outside slaughtering the dorfs). It's okay, but overall the mob HP and spread and whatnot is kinda meh. Still fun enough.

Imo Velks is still the best zone ever designed in this game. It's fantastic.

It was fun to check it out for a level or two, but the exp just plain sucks unfortunately.

The orc exp sucks. The terrors, spiders, and the geonids are wonderful.

Me and a buddy killed geos for a level and the exp was pretty meh. Actually felt like the orcs were slightly better exp considering that they die faster and there is more of them.

The loot is CC is great. I think there are 3 different caster robes, wisdom belt, WR pack, str neck and of course the ore and silks.

6. $$$$ - On my monk, leveling from 33-48, I made 24k here. I've made 6k from lvl 32-38, on my ranger so far, and I haven't even made it to the Geonids yet. Jade earrings, flame agates, peridots, words, topaz, carnelian, ivory, etc... a bunch of small plat items that add up when selling to vendor. 200p per stack of Crystalline Silks, be firm! Deals for multiples of course! Geonid gems are just golden and unfounded anywhere else from an upper 30's mob at this drop rate. You still see lvl 51 sk's in here farming sometimes, lol.

Just out of curiosity, is 200p per stack of crystalline silks seriously the going price of these? So 200p for.. 10 swatches (provided no failures)?
