Correct - people often forget that the Titanium client ≠ classic. The period-correct client for P99 would either be the very first client that came with the original three install discs, or the EverQuest Trilogy client, which is when the new high resolution zone textures were released - when Titanium was released in 2006 they'd made a ton of client-side changes in order to keep up with rapidly evolving software such as DirectX and new GPUs, etc. While this was a good thing because it meant people no longer had to play EverQuest through a potato, the downside was they also introduced a litany of minor bugs and glitches which mostly have to do with the classic character models. These include various animation oddities such as the silly swaying side-to-side running after casting a spell, broken iksar animations, broken epic particle effects, slow wolf form running animation, weird transparency issues with helmets, black feet and black splotches on armor, etc., all of which are *drum roll* ... NOT CLASSIC!

Fortunately we have some very talented programmers that were able to fix some of these:

Thanks for posting all those fixes, Paul. Some of those are new to me!!

That said, I like the clipping bug on the paladin epic, where you can make the weapon just seem like a tiny tiny dagger of flame (but with a really swanky hilt)... would kinda be a shame to fix [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.].

Awesome. I just installed this, the wolf run speed fix and the epic particle effect fix and they all worked like a charm. I always thought there was something off with my epic but could never quite place it.

Thank you Zaela for your fantastic contributions and thank you PaulyG for bringing these fixes to my attention!

What number should you use for the wolf animation?

I used 20 myself, but you can experiment to see what works for you.

I wish the 'current' client didn't freeze/black screen every time a UAC window pops up [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Took me about 5 times watching the bow animation to figure out what was different. Never really looked at the legs during the animation before.
Good eyes, I was on the 15th or 16th time before I saw the leg's thing.
