Is it possible to run WinEQ2 with Affinity 1 set in target?
Ok so heres the scoop. I was able to fix my dual-core issues via msconfig setting to 1 CPU. But im still not satisfied. I tend to play other games like CS:GO and its annoying to have to restart each time in order to set 1 or 2 CPU's.
So in the thread dealing with this issue someone mentioned running the target like with the following: cmd.exe /C Start /affinity 1 eqgame.exe patchme How can i set the target line of WinEQ2 to follow a similar approach and launch WinEQ2 with affinity 1? Thanks.

What about right clicking taskbar and going to task manager. Right click eqgame.exe and should give you option to set affinity.

Edit: Sorry, didn't read the OP correctly, sounds like you're already trying what I was suggesting.

setting affinity from task manager did not resolve the issue. The only resolve i found so far is setting 1 cpu from msconfig.
That's why I wanted to testi running WinEQ2 with the target set to affinity 1 to see if it is any different.

Doesn't WinEQ2.0 remove the need to manually change affinity?
Right click tray icon, choose Options->Preferences->WinEQ2.0->General-> Set CPU Affinity ON/OFF

Oh cool did not know about that. So for my issue CPU affinity should be off right?
