Default Fall Damage

Hi I created a forum account to mention that I have fallen from great heights multiple times, expecting to die from the fall damage only to find I didn't take any damage at all.

I have fallen off the bridges in GFay and off cliffs in FoB, no damage. Is this a known issue?

I don't think so, I noticed it with my level 11 Halfling druid when falling from Kelethin. I fell once, asked in OOC if it was bugged. Everyone responded with jokes about trying it again. So I actually did and yep, no damage. That was about two weeks ago.

But just the other day I fell in the pit in the Cabillis sewer and didn't take any damage. That may be intentional at that spot however, but it sure is a long fall.

Has to do with your "max frame rate" setting in your display options. Maxed out (assuming your computer isnt lagging) you wont take much, if any, damage from falling.

Lower the frame rate also helps you jump higher [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
