Any policy that allows the taliban to take over the country smacks of far more "bloodlust" than, ya know, trying to stop it. You can argue we should take care of our own country before going about policing the world, but you can't deny that the Afghan people were much better off with our presence than without it.

It's noble to actively seek to mitigate harm and to want to help or protect others. Do no harm is a golden rule kinda rule. I just wonder if 5 eyes crawling the Afghani desert with the minds, bodies, and souls of dead young Americans will really achieve that or any other noble goal. We as a people aren't capable of doing what God's angels do and enforcing heavenly *rule* on earth. Not possible with Satan at the helm. N u kno it.

Sweetie, Detroit is fairly unsalvageable, and dumping a bunch of money into is isn't going to foster a strong work ethic among the indigenous peoples of Detroit because everyone who had a strong work ethic in the Rust Belt has since left for opportunity elsewhere.
