the problem with HoTs in my opinion has always been the reward system. unlike league (were you can unlock a top tier champion in 1-3 days of hardcore playing) they use the hearthstone daily quest system and give minimum gold gains per match which suits casual players more. People who want to grind out gold for new heroes really can't do that unless you buy a stimpack from the cash shop.

They are all 50% off right now. Bought 4 heroes for 20 bucks.
That's probably £20 to the Brits though ($30). They don't want us to play I think.

Getting Heroes in HoTS is about 3x easier than in League.
I have maybe 60-75 games in HoTS and have like 4 of the most expensive Heroes along with some lower tier ones.
I have about 3k~ ish games in LoL, and have not even half of the champions, and only have 2 shit rune pages.

Played HotS for awhile due to my brother playing it. Just feel like its a dumbed down version of LoL or Dota. No items to buy, Global experience share, only basically 1 option to "customize" your champ compared to others and thats just picking a different skill every 3 levels

Definitely feels like "my first MOBA" and best of all zero creativity required from Blizzard, just import characters.

I like HoTS alright, but DoTA will always be number one for me.
