AFK Tag missing if PvP flagged

If you are PvP flagged and go /afk the "AFK" portion doesn't show up on name, unless this was intended.

AFK tags above player name

Is it supposed to be classic to not show AFK tags above the player (though it can be seen in a /who)?

Not sure if bug or intended.
