With current exp system lvl 20 is like 10 hours untwinked on any caster class.

I might be off a little but it is something like:
50% exp bonus no matter what +50% bonus per group member you get, so a group of 2 will get 100% exp bonus. A group of 4 would get 50% + 3x50% = 200% exp bonus. If a mob normally gives 100 exp: Solo person - 150 exp Group of 2 - 200 exp or 100 exp per person Group of 4 - 300 exp or 75 exp per person Group of 6 - 400 exp or 66 exp per person It is great for efficient larger groups. A group of 4 only has to kill 2x as many mobs as someone solo to get the same amount of exp.

Exp here is amazing. I've seen an entire guild of players lvl from 1-46 in about a week if not less. If you have a solid EXP group you could do 1-50 in a few days.
Granted it still slows down at good deal 55+ but I would highly recommend you try it out and always fill that group up when possible. Welcome to Red!

As other people have kinda said, a group is key to taking advantage of the exp here. If you're going at it solo you'll end up going as slow if not slower than blue with all the PVP stuff going on.
A well constructed group played well will destroy levels pretty fast. Don't even worry about going to the hotspots like Unrest/MM, a place like Paw or Runny Eye that is almost always empty and offers a ton of mobs will be awesome exp. Even outdoor zone with steady pulls like East Karana or Beholders Maze will be great exp. A group of lvl 20-25 can level really fast as the aviak fort and simultaneously camp peg cloaks, then move into Paw in the mid to high 20s. Paw will take you into the 40s easily.

edit: just read your math. It's correct in theory except it's 50% base and +40% per person. So a group of exp is actually a 290% bonus. (50+40x6)

Solo you get 50% base + 40% for having 1 person for a total of 90% bonus? If not then a duo would get an 80% jump and sounds like it would be a really efficient way to go.

Yeah I'm a little unclear about that as well. By the numbers they posted you essentially get an 80% bonus from duo'ing in addition to the 50% flat amount. IMO you should really get 40% for 2, 80% for 3, etc.
I can see duo'ing being the best exp at low level when you can destroy blue/black/yellow cons when twinked out. Once you get 50+ even a good group can find spots to kill mobs non stop and that would become the preferred method.

The only reason you wouldn't want to run more people in your group is if you're running out of mobs. For instance, if you're in Unrest and you have a corner of the CY to yourself but you're waiting around for mobs you would want the fewest people in your group possible without running out of mobs or having to sit around. But if you are in kaesora and have virtually unlimited mobs at your disposal you would want a max group to be able to kill as fast as possible.
