The longer a level takes, the happier you feel when you level.

Level 1 to 2? Tiny happiness
Level 54 to 55? Huge happiness.

In summary, slower leveling results in greater joy.

level 60 without earning it is meaningless. The exaltation comes from overcoming a large hurdle.
