Tool may very well be the best band I've ever heard in terms of a quality per album. Even if you dilute their discography w/ APC's first two albums, I think Tool/APC edges out even Radiohead.

However, the majority of Tool fans that I've met have extremely narrow taste in music (i.e. Tool or old Prog Rock is all they listen to). Even Tool hates Tool fans.

Anyhow, I give Ticks and Leeches an 8/10, and it's probably my lowest scoring song on that album. I wish Waffles/Oink/What were still around, there was a xylophone rendition of Lateralus that was goddamn amazing. I think VSQ also has a tribute for Lateralus too. Edit: http://www.rockabyebabymusic.com/roc...tool-2534.html found it.

Here's a 2012 gem:

Catchy song w/ very good refrain. Just got done getting serious radio play, but I remember liking it a lot when I first heard it.

Reminds me of Massive Attack even though they're not really the same, good to chill with but needs some vocals imo [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] 5/10

Top quality wisdom in those lyrics
I really like the music and mystical lore feeling of it. Would be great scene music for a dark ages or pre-roman era type movie. I don't really even mind the language.

8/10

reminds me somehow about a stealth game like "Splinter Cell". You know, you playing stealth and in the next moment the enemys spot you and you are running. And the music goes like this...(soundtrack: Splinter Cell)

I like the German language, but this song I didn't like. The beat doesn't go with the sound of the words and the monkeys are creepy.

3/10
