Default When does Bard Selos = SoW?

So being new to p99 I love being a bard because I dont have to worry about SoW. However I have noticed that whenever i get a sow it is WAY faster than my Selo's. I am level 10, and I know that selo's gets a bit faster with each level. I was just wondering when it maxed out, or when it became faster than SoW.

SoW also gets better each level depending on the level of the caster. 30% at level 9 -> 55% at 50.

Selo's gets better with levels and the drum modifier that is used. 20% at level 5 -> 65% at level 50 (further modified by the type of drums used)

If you have mistmoore battle drums, you multiply the effectiveness by 2.1. So 20% would be 41%.

SoW starts out faster, but if a higher level character casts SoW it will be faster than even a level 5 bard Selos + drums.

With equal level players, SoW will be faster than Selos until level 35 or so. But if the bard uses drums he will always be faster than an equal level SoW.

Just FYI: Selos speed increases 1% per level. SoW increases 2.05% per level. So by the time a bard is lvl 20, his Selos (by itself without drum) is slightly faster than lvl 9 SoW (35%). A druid's of equal level SoW is 45% speed increase.
Hope that helps

According to the wiki, SoW starts at 34% at level 9 and tops out at 55% at 50 (or higher at 60, maybe). That's 21% increase over 41 levels for a rate of .51

Selo's starts at 20% at level 5, and increases 1% each level thereafter (up to 60)

So, we have the formula:
1(x)+ 20 = .51(x) + 34

Solve for X:
.49x = 14

x = 28

So that means they both become equal at level 28. This assumes that both spells increase in a linear pattern between initial spell level and their max cap.

So if Selo's starts at 20% and you add 1% each level after level 5, that's 54% at 60 add that to 20? Which would mean at 60 our Selo's is 74% without a drum?

Yep.

There's a reason why it's not nice to play selo's on group mates as they first zone into Paineel.
