A question though - hot pizza, or cold slices on the next day? Nothing beats a hot cup of coffee, a cold slice of pizza, and an early morning camp. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Nuts, mostly - or hummus (which I'll eat on anything, including w/a spoon, if nothing else is handy).

Pizza is the ultimate, though, you're correct. Papa John's??? I weep for you poor, unfortunate people. Living in the New York/New England area, I have soooooo many options for good, fresh pizza house pizza. Those who also live in the area know what of I speak.

I lived in New England for years and enjoyed the pizza house pizza you speak of, however Papa Johns is the ultimate franchise pizza and the best most people can get [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Best snacks while video gaming are those you can just keep popping without fear of becoming grossly overweight or damage your health. When I am playing a game on the computer I will prep a snack if it's for few hours, or make a small dish. Some things I enjoy:

- baby carrots, cantaloupe, watermelon, bananas, hard boiled eggs (no yolk).
- in the morning I like to make a nice egg white omelet, dry whole wheat toast and coffee with a bit of cream no sugar before I play EQ or any game
- I also keep a gallon jug of water next to monitor all the time, as general rule I try to drink gallon of water a day

I used to do the whole pizza thing, cans of coke etc., but since I began healthier snacking while gaming over year ago I've lost weight and feel better in general. I would definitely advise a similar change to any other pizza/dorito gamers.

See that's the genius of small healthy snacks, most of what I described you can prepare in anywhere from 5 seconds to maybe 5 minutes. Baby carrots are a big favorite of mine, very low cal but high fiber so you can keep popping them and it'll fill you up fairly quickly so you're not even that hungry. Also drinking lots of water will help keep you feeling full as well.

Before an evening game session ill make myself a good skirt steak med-well with mashed sweet potatos and some spinach. If I've had a big lunch ill settle for a bowl of healthy cereal. With the steak I also enjoy a nice belgian beer unfiltered [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
