the mechanic existed on live in era but it was restricted to specific zones -- mostly large outdoor kunark zones.
It may actually have been an unintended thing resulting from a pathing issue, as when the mobs hit leash distance they would sprint off at full speed into the ether, not return to patrol spot. Definitely not a remotely classic implementation if it works in every zone and as described. | ||
