People that change their play style depending on whether or not PvP results in yellow text are hardcore PvPers in my opinion.

if anything, removing YT would generally help people be smarter at pvp

actually listening to assist calls vs. tunnel visioning on someone like the grandmaster in a futile attempt to get a yt on a box legend

i dont give a shit about it personally, i come from daoc- a real pvp/gvg/rvr game, eq pvp is just a fun dynamic (along with alot of other neat red-specific mechanics) rather than playing the over-crowded blue server /shrug
