Posts from November 2007 claiming that a recent change on Zek caused the previously NPC-only level caps on mez and stun spells to also apply to players.
Quote:
Abilities that had a lvl restriction for mobs but formally [sic] worked pvp no longer work in pvp. Is this an intended change?

It's effecting ALL stuns and mezzes in PvP.

Bring back the no level requirement on mez/stuns in PvP NOW.

ALL stuns and mezzes landed on players REGARDLESS of their pve levels until SoF was released. This is the way the original EQ devs gave us.

^ great evidence that you guys should be VERY careful considering what you read on ZAM / see on live given pvp changes. The spell system went through massive changes after Velious and bugs arose.

Meaning: if you see, "spell X can be dispelled" etc in a log... consult a certified Doctor of Classic EverQuest before submitting it as proof.
