EQEMU cannot connect to any servers

I can't get the EQ Emu program to connect to any servers. It's constantly timing out. Any suggestions?

Same here, I'm looking for the old manual patch notes and am wondering if anyone has them. I would like to change the eq.exe file but I can't remember how since I started using the EQemu launcher.

Damned, it only took *forever* for me to find the right forum thread to say "Me too!" It seems that moestaverne.com website is somehow messed up. It's still there, but not responding. And...since the setup help guide for p99 only says - use the downloader - I don't know how to do a work around. How the heck is the p99 server still up, people playing, and no one (NO ONE) is posting what's going on with moestaverne.com????!!!

Okay, here's some help for those who still can't play due to the EQEmu installer's inability to connect to moestaverne.com. Double-click the EQ desktop icon to start the installer like you normally would. It won't be able to connect, because moestaverne.com is not responding.

But...now, right click on the installer at the top on the logo. You'll see a small menu, one choice will be to "Play EverQuest." Left click that and you skip having to go to moestaverne.com, and it will launch the game for you.

Hope this helps anyone who is technologically challenged like me, and was a bit frustrated.

I knew there was an older manual method, and it didn't dawn on me to use it until I woke up from sleep.

Checked again, still cannot connect.
