Dragging 2 corpses:
I must not be the only now that does this but i have yet to see it done. and after asking a few rogues over the years, none that I've talked to knew the way this was done. when i ask someone if they know how to drag 2 corpses at once they will either say yes or no. if they say yes i ask how and they tell me about names in hot buttons yadda yadda. Incorrect. here is the hassle free way to do it without having to type any names in hot buttons, also you can drag 2 of the same named corpses no problem.
Go to your options. Keys tab. select category -target. Toggle last two targets needs to be set to the key of your liking(preferably near your /corpse key) I have mine set to O.
Now I have my /corpse button set to the 0 key.
Your set up.
when you are ready to drag-
select first corpse.
select second corpse.
now you will spam your /corpse key and your Toggle last two targets key.
Which for my setup is.
0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o 0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0d0u0m0b0o0o0o0o00o0 o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0 o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0

Get 2 corpse macros,
/target Swish
/corpse
/target Otherdeadguy
/corpse
...should lock on to their corpses, same thing, different method :p
I can't emphasise tab targetting enough for enchanters. Rather than trying to click on that 2nd/3rd mob that's lurking behind the troll SK which you can't see, scroll through the mobs with tab and mez them from there (the ones on 100% typically unless the tank has a DS on him).
Everyone that isn't the tank should have an "/assist Derp" type macro set up. I know it's basics but you'd be amazed at low levels how this is an unknown concept. Can really help the cleric/enchanter's mana pool and keep things efficient when there's an overpull or adds.
If you're running around with 8pp, 267gp, 580sp and 1200cp and can't get to a bank anytime soon...chances are you'd like to turn that into 35pp or so in plat coins. Find a vendor that's selling more than 1 of a certain item - gems are perfect if you see any that are buyable for 1-4pp or so but it works for research words too (anything light!). Buy a few, sell them back, buy them again, sell them back. Vendors take your copper and silver first, so you're relieving all the coin weight. If you're inclined you could just buy them gems and hold them til you get to your bank later (maybe your town gives better prices to sell them).
If you want some free buffs, the EC tunnel is an amazing place at busy periods to get some. Some people can be funny about giving them out, you'll see the odd druid demanding payment to click his sow spell...but generally people will give you clarity/haste/sow/HP etc. Don't be afraid to ask :)

Throw a /pause 1 in there after the first set, since its trying to do two things at the exact same time sometimes one of the commands gets left out, and leaving a corpse behind.

not the same thing. try dragging 2 of your own corpses like that. and the glory of my setup is that you don't have to open ur buttons make a new name for every dill your trying to drag. just click corpse and spam.

You're more likely to be dragging 2 of other people's corpses, but point taken :p

wow here is a tip, quit dying

Not starting an argument on page 2 of a tip thread.
Wall banking tip for evil folks. If you can invis to a bank this is obviously a lot easier to pull off.
Faydwer: Head to Felwithe's bank - you're likely kos to the guards so hide around the side of the wall (to the banker's left, facing the same direction as him). From there you can bank without the guard seeing you.
Antonica: Same deal with North Freeport. The wall straight ahead of you as you walk into the bank is perfect cover for being able to bank. Line yourself up against the wall, scroll back on your mousewheel, and target the banker... might take some adjusting forwards/backwards but its doable.
Invis is important to get past the guards :p

For such a well intended thread Mammoth you're set on trying to start a personal argument. This isn't RnF.
Bank tip has been around for months or close to a year, and showcased on YouTube by that gnome guy I forget the name of that wrote a starter guide for newbies.

corpse dragging like a pro-
the social will look like this
Macro Name
line1: /pause 3, /target name's corpse
line2: /pause 3, /corpse
line3: /pause 3, Target other corpse's name
line4: /pause 3, /corpse
line5: /tell Xou put the bottle down!
works great, depending on ur lag, edit the number 3 to ur licking this is in tenths of a second so 10 would be 1 second.
-edit i do wanna note that this is for two corpses that aren't the same name. putting /pause #,/command works amazing it puts a pause after the command. You can do many things with this, loop 5 x bindwound, 5x cheal, canni, the list goes on and on.

this ^^
i played for 10 years before i realized this was possible
to add to what swish said, though, i don't think there is a default key for cycling through nearest NPCs. you gotta go into the keyboard options and set it to the key of your choice before using it.
btw this key follows line of sight rules, you can only cycle through NPCs that the game thinks you can see.

How do you bind an action to a movement key? I have heard people say this before, but when I go look in the options to do it, I can't figure it out.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Drop Sense heading or other skill onto hotbar, go into options and set your movement keys as the keys for those hotbar buttons.
Edit: Sorry had a call, so drop sense heading on two hotbar spots. Set W,S to one and A,D to the other (or whatever you use for movement keys). It doesn't matter that the keys are shared.

There's those times where you're grinding and it all gets too much, your eyes hurt, your concentration fades... and you've already jumped up and afk'd a few times.
Getting a drink
Going to the little elves room
Answering the door/phone
Already been through those, so there you sit...wondering what other reasons you can have to leech off your group for a bit longer.
By now you need something elaborate, favourites I've seen used include:-
"Sorry guys, wife is arguing...afk a min" (probably single)
"Dogs barking, need to take them out quickly" (probably not got a dog, or its not barking)
"Baby is crying, back in a minute" (now this can be legit, but when people are talking like wiggas, chatting about "smoking a bowl" and being continuously lazy, its not as believable to me at least)
So a tip: If you want to be invited back to groups, don't AFK all the time for 100 inventive reasons. If you're pulling/healing - suggest a 3-5 minute afk for the group between respawns (people usually welcome it and they can't do much without the puller/tank or healer).
Don't be a leecher, particularly if you're a wizard...afk wizards are on my shitlist.
On the flipside, leading a group? Some dude clearly leeching and been afk for some time (5 minutes or more)? Drop him from the group, chances are he's back in the next 30 seconds every time. Give him 3 strikes, and he'll either play properly with everyone else or he can find another group :p ... harsh yes, but fair to everyone else :)

If you need to run away from a mob chasing you try strafe running. ie run forward and sidestep at the same time. You will run a little faster this way and escape most mobs.
Not sure if its already been posted but when training sense heading, bind the sense heading key to one of your movement keys. It will train itself.
For newbies, if ever you are about to die out in the middle of nowhere, have a /loc key hotkeyed and press it. Some zones can be very troublesome for finding corpses... faydark(s), west karana etc.

If you don't want to train sense heading, just buy a compass. It can be hotkeyed and never fails.
You can use most bankers through walls as noted above. This is a particularly useful trick to use in The Overthere.

Melee, if you aggro GrimFeather and she cons blue strafe run her to the guards (if they're up) at the tower overlooking the gypsy camp. GL getting there if you're not sowed as well. Both tower guards will eventually die, no question, but not before bringing Grim down to 35-40% health on average. After a few whacks she'll be fleeing. Get revenge, a little xp boost and rune of ivy.

While it isn't classic, it is better than pop opening a browser game and not watching eqs screen!

http://stereopsis.com/flux/
Not so much an in-game tip, but a way to keep your eyes from going FUBAR. From the site: f.lux fixes this: it makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day.
It's even possible that you're staying up too late because of your computer. You could use f.lux because it makes you sleep better, or you could just use it just because it makes your computer look better.
A free program that is absolutely amazing. I had problems getting used to the yellow'ish hue at first, but now I can't do without. And my eyes love me for it.
