We are in search of a few more guides to join the Project 1999 staff for both blue and red servers.

If you are interested, please:

1) If you have an existing guide app, please bump that application. Indicate whether or not you are still interested in Blue, Red, or both. Please do not create a new application.

2) If you do not have an existing app, please fill one out in the Guide Applications (http://www.project1999.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=33) forum. Instructions provided in the forum announcement.

GMs and guides actually used plane of sky until that was released..

CShome (aka CS home not c-shome!) was the GM only zone, had a statue of some guide/GM that died IRLs and a fountain / high elf building.

cs home is where you could get your armor and clickies. there was also shit you were supposed to fuck with (never did) but kinda wonder now.

Not sure when they changed it to cs home from sky. Before Velious iirc tho.

the other merchants were for guide awards to up their levels, notes, and random starter kits for level ranges, you could only use them if you had the right faction which was senior guide +

my senior went awol last time i was on. her and her husband kinda ran things on my server. we got xfered to luclin or fennin ro i cant remember, due to a server merger. bascially i was the only one ever on so i lost interest. didnt help that live servers were dead either. thats why i was always chillin in the tutorial zone. only chance to meet people haha I was actually a guide twice. first time i quit because of deployment in the service.

dude for real. i went to almost every kunark zone looking for group for 3 hours last nite. nothing. only group was Nihilum in KC. when i annonced my presense and that I was lfg Nothnxu bolted for the zone line to attack. i was OOR so he left, no groupage was had. shits awful atm. i guess next time ill try seb since i have a key, i just dont want to go there LFG and get raped instead hehe

The point is you have 2 players that don't know each other. The one guy playing a solo class only sees bringing someone else in as a major detriment to his solo grind to 50. The other guy, choosing a class other than something that solos well, sits around lfg for a few days and gives up. See if you can figure out on your own why this is bad for the population.

There's a point in a conversation where an intelligent ear can detect someone trying to turn something objective into something subjective. That's when we learn-ed know the bullshit is afoot.

For instance: you guys would be head over heels for a grouping xp bonus, but if it was 1-50 only you wouldn't want it.

i wasnt attacked i was OOR. dont recall accusing people of RMT or hacking. exploiting maybe, there was definitely some of that. I said nothing more than you did on that subject.

most of the groups 50+ are nilly tho because most of the 50+ on the server are nihilum. if i rule out grouping with them i guess end-game for casual non raiders is 51.

if i wanted to play soloquest id play wow. nothing is fun about kiting mobs. i did it, wasnt impressed. dont play to see my xp bar move in jolts. i made a bard to group not to solo to 58 then raid.

Seems like that makes blues the ideal candidates to GM on red, rather than the reverse. If there's little to no vested interest, there should be no favoritism.
