A Week of Discord

This got me thinking. Maybe we can spice things up for a week. No one wants to roll on red because of the time commitment and the cess pool playerbase but a lot of us still enjoy the occasional PvP battle. I could attempt to convince a large chunk of BDA to go red for the week and maybe other guilds could do the same. An entire week of bloodshed... Any other guilds interested?

one of these days the guilds on blue will get sick of getting shit on and not being able to do anything about it (variance? camp disputes? FTE? lol?) it would take a guild on blue about 1 months to get to the progression they are now. Our server is small, you guys could literally out zerg the server in no time.

No one wants to play on red. If people do want to pvp they don't want to invest even more time into leveling and gearing. People on blue are already geared and leveled. This could be a fun 1 week distraction if other guilds agreed to it.

I think that would be too much of a hassle to maintain. I'd suggest that people draw up their own alliances, most likely I'd expect each guild to be its own team. This could also add a little spice for raids.

was just thinking of getting casuals into it, a lot of people arent guilded or their guilds arent that into pvp, but teams would give everyone support. just an idea, it does all come down to personal alliances since any red can attack any red )

I didnt read any of this thread but how hard would it be for Nilbog to make a 3rd server for a month with no GM support and perma death no rules pvp.

Give a title for the highest lvls at the end of the month just like on live.

Cept they just need to add /guildwar.


Or... add a few npcs in game that offered players the choice to be pvp flagged or unflagged at will, but in easy to access spots (ec, wc, ot, dl, fv)


Id prefer weekly guild wars or pvp tourneys to determine who gets what movs rather then the current shit system.



Edit: I realize people will say 'go play red' but the players there are the reason no one plays there, not pvp.

I was in one prior to Kunark back then. Was fun for an hour or so, and was mostly head-to-head in one or two zones. We didn't chase each other around the world...

should do after next server repop - that way you got like 2 days to fight, no worries of spawns, and plenty of time to get to Qeynos to re-Blue yerself. Can be an "annual event" so to speak. Every Repop = 2 Days of Discord.

Good idea! Lets make it so- Every repop the "day" and or "Morning" after said repop- will have 2 days of discord!

Or write code that every "full repop" makes the server all red...add some spice to life! haha
